All the media talking heads, the political pundants, the congressional spinmeisters and the Whitehouse executive staffers speak and write thousands of words in an attempt to convince “We the People” of the United States that they know what they are doing. But the 17% approval rating and the horrible mess they have created of our government and economy, is a strong bit of evidence that they don’t have a clue.

I’ve given considerable thought to the problem and have come up with a solution that would accomplish our goal, fix the Congress, and reduce the corruption in government. We can’t accomplish it through the courts, or by initiatives. There is only one legal way.

The People are just fed up enough with this government to cooperate in fixing it. Here is the ultimate solution:

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. - That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, - That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness

We the People, now and forever after, dissolve the political bands which have connected us to the currupt and inept political parties now residing in our seat of government. We legally register and assume the identity of The Independent and United People Of the United States Of America.

We, the United, Independent People, set forth the following rules necessary to represent the new government:

1. The Political Candidates would have to renounce their party affiliations and re-register as Independent to participate in all future elections.

2. The FCC will establish a virtual Congress and place Washington DC off limits. Each Congress Person and Senator will attend the Virtual Congress from their Congressional District office. Logging in when they arrive and be monitored by an FCC provided TV channel. Each Congressional District will have a MAC (Municipal Action Committee) to relay the people’s preferences on local and national issues.

3. If the people’s will is not reflected in his or her voting record, the representative shall be vacationed for the duration of their service contract.

4. In this way the isle between Representatives who are employed to serve the people will disappear, the parties will disappear and they will have to achieve their successes by mutual cooperation.

5. Products manufactured in foreign countries by American owned Corporations will be banned for sale in the United States. They would have to bring back all those manufacturing plants and jobs if they wanted to do business in the USA.

6. Non Compliance by Corporations obsessed with the global economy will be rewarded by the devaluation the dollar by a ratio of 20 to 1 immediately.

7. All unemployed and physically fit homeless will be conscripted into a Federal workforce (PWA), housed, if neccessary, and paid minimum wage to rebuild the infrastructure of the nation.
