and it's FREE!

What was predicted in our book, America's Crisis: The Direct Democracy and Direct Education Solution, when published in 2000, was that the best of education can be delivered by means of the internet with education networks connected to students' homes. Since then, high schools and colleges have offered online classes in nearly every subject, online schools have been established, and now there is the best of the best online education available to anyone, anywhere, and it's FREE!

The Khan Academy was featured on CBS 60 Minutes, Sunday, March 11, 2012. It's an amazing concept founded by an amazing young man: Online education in K-12 math, biology, chemistry, and physics -- even reaching into the humanities, with playlists on finance and history. Visit the KHAN ACADEMY at and learn. The non-profit Khan Academy has been endorsed by Bill Gates and funded by the Gates Foundation to expand the academy's curriculum and capabilities.

Finally, there is the hope and the way to replace the failed public education establishment with high quality direct education at a fraction of the cost.

UPDATE: On September 2, 2012, 60 Minutes re-visited the Khan Academy, which has vastly improved and expanded, able to track individual student's progress and needs. It's simply amazing what is being done, and should be considered in replacing the entire failed public education system, saving and enhancing our students' futures, our economy, and the nation.
